Joseph Finds Victory Lane at Atlanta

Race number three for the Earthscapes Truck Series was held at Atlanta Motor Speedway for the running of the Peachtree 60. Allen Ebert won the Racin Grafix Pole with a lap of 31.087.

As the trucks took the green flag, Ebert jumped out front to lead the early laps. Racing throughout the field was tight and exciting from the start. The #13 of Robert Liedel III brought out the races first caution on lap 4 after spinning in turn 4.

With the leaders pitting, the #94 of Luc LeBrun stayed out to take the lead. He would lead the next several laps under green before the second caution of the night came out. Rick Underwood driving the #0 Chevy, slid up the track causing Si Upton to spin and collecting teammate Steven Littrell. Both were able to continue after repairs.

With the green flag waving again, LeBrun was being challenged by Ebert for the top spot. The #82 of Littrell spun in turn 3 and brought out the caution just as Ebert took the lead. Ebert and others would make there pit stops under caution. LeBrun however, stayed on the track again to take the lead for a second time.

When the green came out, the fresh tires of Ebert, Chris Forster, and Keith Joseph proved to be too strong for LeBrun as he dropped back to fourth. Joseph, who had a strong truck in Happy Hour, moved into the second position and set his sites on the leader.

On lap 51, Brian Roberts was making a green flag pit stop when he lost control of his truck and collected Underwood and bringing out another caution. Joseph had an outstanding pit stop and inherited the lead.

The #22 of Joseph would lead for a couple of laps before the final caution of the night came out involving the # 15 of Chris Sullivan. Joseph would have his hands full for the remaining green flag laps. Ebert moved into second but didn't have enough time to give Joseph any sort of challenge.

Joseph crossed the line first and took home his first career victory in the Earthscapes Truck Series. Following the Earthscapes Landscaping Inc. #22 was Ebert, Forster, Dave Azevedo, and Sullivan. Completeing the top ten was Underwood, Shawn Musick, Liedel III, LeBrun and Upton.
